These Are The Times
one of my new year’s promises to myself is-if i write a post about the current administration, i must also post something hopeful,useful & positively lovely!rants come first unfortunately, & I will post a positive something before the end of the day-promise!
donald trump is, at 72, a life-long narcissist, who lacks empathy, impulse control, maturity, the capabilities to correlate information,& strategically apply those concepts for the greater good, & any measure of success-either moral,societal,legal or financial.
these are well-documented facts. he will never be anyone else.he will never understand that tempter tantrums & bullying are not negotiating skills.-pretending that something might change is a codicil to the definitions of insanity.there is no other interpretation considering the body of evidentiary proof.
like the many thousands of life-long republicans, i have renounced the party, because it no longer represents anything i value, nor does it defend the basic premise of the american values i grew up believing were special & unique to our country.what will the remaining supporters consider the omg moment to put a stop to this travesty that abandons children to die, thinks that only we are exempt & deserving, & everyone else is “other” than important, that being bought & paid for is the way to go, & acquisition at any price is acceptable,that is actively destroying our environment, physically, fiscally & morally, harasses & punishes any & all disagreeing voices, or allows…
